Project C55010 - Traffic Signal Capital Replacement

This project is an ongoing maintenance program to replace hazardous conditions at traffic signalized intersections. With this program, the City replaces aged and deteriorated traffic signal equipment. In addition, this program eliminates repeated maintenance problems and potential hazardous conditions at traffic signalized intersections.

Project C03930 - Traffic Signal Controller Replacement

This project is an on-going maintenance program to replace obsolete and failing traffic signal controllers with state of the art technology traffic signal controllers that incorporate added features required to enhance existing traffic operations. With this program, the City will be able to provide a traffic signalized system of connectivity, reduce traffic delays and air pollution.

Project C37310 - Traffic Signal Loop Replacement

This project is an ongoing maintenance program to replace defective traffic signal loop detectors. With this program, the City has been able to effectively replace failed traffic signal in-pavement loop detectors with state of the art traffic video detection to eliminate the need to place intersections with the failed in-pavement loop detectors in a fixed time operation. Continued traffic detection reduces unnecessary traffic delays and additional air pollution caused by vehicles waiting at the traffic signalized intersection placed on fixed time operations.
